Post Processing

So what happens after
we take the picture and
why is that so important?
"Post Processing" . . .
It is a 4 step process . . .
At most events we take hundreds or thousands of images.
The first step is to identify the best-of-the-best and eliminate the others.
STEP 1: Selecting
Next we correct color and exposure. Since image color will be
impacted by the light source color, it may not always be accurate.
STEP 2: Correcting
Every image is color corrected by hand for accurate colors!
STEP 2: Correcting
Light meters can easily be fooled . . . .
STEP 2: Corrections
so each image is adjusted by hand for maximum impact!
STEP 2: Correcting
Almost every picture can be improved with slight corrections!

Snapping the picture is only a small part of delivering professional images. For each one hour spent shooting, an additional 2 hours processing the images is required to complete the following tasks:

  • Selecting:  Identifying the best-of-the-best
  • Correcting:  Color and exposure adjustments
  • Reducing Distractions:  Blemishes and unwanted objects
  • Delivering:  Creating a professional web gallery
